in the heart of Positano
Hotel Dimora Fornillo is a small three-star boutique hotel with seven charming bedrooms, all with en-suite. It is a typical Positano house dating from 1800, cleverly restored by master masons who have retained the unique charm of the architecture with the arches and domes, characteristic of the unique style found in the buildings of Positano.
Facing south-east, each room’s terrace offers stunning views of the Amalfi Coast:
- to the left is beautiful Positano with its houses perched on the hillside and sloping down to the sea and the coast towards Praiano and Amalfi.
- to the right is the Tower Clavel, a castle perched on a rock and rebuilt about a century ago by Count Clavel . Once a fortress guarding against invasion, today the tower welcomes those arriving from Capri.
About 60 meters above the sea, The hotel Dimora Fornillo dominates the eponymous beach, one of the most exclusive of the Amalfi Coast.
In good wheater from 7:30 alle 10:30, breakfast is served in the garden of pomgranate.
The hotel’s lobby and bar can be found on the ground floor level of the garden. Here you can enjoy the sun or take a drink during the day, surrounded by typical lush Mediterranean vegetation including olive and carob trees.
